Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Rocky cliffs and a complex of small quarries with outcrops of phonolites. This locality is unique, because the phonolite dyke is the longest in the whole Czech Republic. On the other hand, phonolites usually occur in form of loaf like bodies. This locality belongs to the Protected Landscape Area Kokořínsko-Máchův kraj.
